A Single-Doctor Periodontal Practice in North Austin
Austin Periodontal Associates is a specialty practice for gum disease, gum recession, and dental implants. One periodontist, one office, and a team that has worked together for years.
What We Do, and What We Don’t
We treat the gums and the bone that support teeth and implants. That means diagnosing and treating periodontal disease at every stage, grafting to correct gum recession, placing dental implants and building the bone to hold them, and the surgical procedures general dentists send to a periodontist: crown lengthening and frenectomy.
We don’t do fillings, crowns, cleanings for healthy mouths, or general dentistry. Your general dentist does those, and we work alongside them rather than in place of them. Most of our patients come to us on a dentist’s referral and go back to that dentist when our part is done.
How a Visit Works
A first visit is a consultation: a review of your medical history, a periodontal exam, the imaging the case needs, and a conversation about what we found and what the options are. You leave with a written plan and estimate. Treatment is scheduled separately, so you have time to think and to talk to your dentist.
Dr. Verrett does every exam and every procedure himself. The person who explains your treatment is the person who performs it and the person you’ll see at your follow-up.

Our Team
