Conditions
What Are You Noticing?
Most people don't arrive knowing the name of a procedure. They arrive with something they've noticed. Start there.
- Bleeding gums — Almost always gum inflammation, and the earliest sign of gum disease. Not normal, and treatable.
- Receding gums — Roots showing, sensitivity, a tooth that looks longer. Grafting covers the root and helps stop it.
- Loose teeth — Usually bone loss from gum disease, sometimes grinding or injury. Many can be stabilized.
- A missing tooth — Implant, bridge, or wait. What each does to the teeth and bone around it.
- Persistent bad breath — When it comes from below the gumline, no mouthwash fixes it.
- A gummy smile — Too much gum, not enough tooth. Reshaping the gumline is a short procedure.
- A problem with a dental implant — Bleeding, looseness, or a second opinion on an implant placed anywhere.
